Entry process description examples
To develop official rules, we’ll ask you to describe your promotion’s entry process – conversational. Tell us what the person has to do to enter. We’ll then convert the “conversational” description into official terms when we write the rules.
Here are some example descriptions clients have used to describe their entry process.
“We are creating a landing page for the promotion. Customers will enter their contact information on our website landing page to enter.”
“Users will enter their name, address and phone number on a website sign up form at bestpromotionever.com.”
“To enter the Sweepstakes, first visit our company promotion website. After arriving at the landing page, the user will need to select the correct tiles to match the secret clues. There will be a total of four (4) clues. If you match them correctly you’re entered into the sweepstakes.”
“Customers will log on to www.companywebsite.com and either sign in if they’re already a registered customer or register their product(s). Then they’ll post a review of any product and they’ll be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes. They can also enter by submitting a review through a link in an official Ratings and Review email they receive after registering any of our brand product.”
“We want to run a contest. The contest is hosted on Facebook inline; the call to action is “tell us your rescue story.” Customers enter their rescue story and the best stories win. We’ll have a first, second and third place winners.”
